The Office of Faculty Affairs oversees faculty appointments, promotions, and faculty career development for the University of Miami School of Medicine. Included within these responsibilities is advising of faculty members at all career stages, department chairs, and administrative offices on policies regarding recruitment of new faculty, retention of faculty, compensation, and leaves of absence and other conditions of employment and advancement.
